What an appeal status means
WCAT is validating and assessing the notice of appeal – checking to make sure that all required information has been provided.
The notice of appeal is complete – all required information has been provided. The appeal can begin.
WCAT invites parties to participate in the appeal, asks WorkSafeBC to disclose files, and determines how the appeal will proceed. For written submission appeals, parties can begin sending their evidence and arguments to WCAT.
