Classification: Clerk Stenographer 9

Salary: $26.68 per hour or $1,867.78 bi-weekly

WCAT is looking to hire two summer students to complete projects in the finance, systems and administration departments. The term of the auxiliary appointments is from May to August 2023, working full-time in office from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

To be considered for these positions, applicants must have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and they must clearly demonstrate how they meet the following requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary (college or university) program
  • Experience in keyboarding, word processing and standard computer applications (i.e., MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)

The successful candidate must be available for the entire term of the project; however there will be some flexibility for the occasional scheduled day off.

A panel interview may be required. Reference checks will be completed and the successful candidate will be required to submit to a criminal record check.  An eligibility list may be established.
