Clarification, Correction, Missed Issue

clarification

Although WCAT decisions are final and conclusive, we can correct any accidental errors or omissions (such as typographical or arithmetic errors) that we notice in our decision. If you notice any such errors that we may have missed, please let us know as soon as possible by writing to us and, if the vice chair agrees, we will correct these as well.

We try to make all such corrections within 90 days of the date we send our decision to you.

We can also clarify our decision if it is not clear to you. We cannot clarify our decision unless you ask us to do so in writing within 90 days of the date we send you our decision. The vice chair will decide whether clarification is necessary.

If the vice chair did not decide an issue contained in the appeal, please let us know by writing to us. If the vice chair agrees that they did not decide an issue contained in the appeal, they will finish their decision by writing an addendum.

You can ask us to clarify, or correct a decision, or decide a missed issue by writing to our Tribunal Counsel Office.
